Our alumni family continues to grow, and we now have more
than 170,000 alumni worldwide. We want to continue to connect
with each other to build strong networks within our Triton
community, as these connections help our alumni remain on the
forefront of their professional, intellectual and personal pursuits.
As we start the new academic year, we are excited about the
changes ahead. In that spirit, we hope you enjoy the fresh and
newly redesigned look of this issue of Triton magazine. This alumni
section is where you will find information on important news and
events, as well as in-depth profiles of Tritons doing extraordinary
things. We also feature our Class Notes, which is where we share
what is going on in our lives with fellow Tritons around the world.
So, what’s going on with you? Tell us so we can celebrate your
Our magazine continues to be a point of pride for UCSD Alumni,
the university’s alumni association, and we hope that you will be
inspired by its rich content on the latest campus initiatives, and
the accomplishments of our alumni, faculty, staff and students.
We also hope you will find causes, events, and activities that will
continue to fuel your passion for UC San Diego.
